American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 4x10 day shift position requiring 2 years of experience (or 1 year with 4 years of scanning experience) and Level II trauma background.
Requirements- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required, or 1 year if candidate has 4 years of scanning experience overall
- Current BLS and ARRT (MR) certification required
- License required if applicable
- Proficient in scanning Head/Neck, Spine, Thorax, Abdomen/Pelvis, Musculoskeletal, and MRA/MRV exams
- Experience with GE scanner required
- IV start proficiency required
- ER and Level II Trauma experience required
- Acute care hospital setting within the MRI Tech unit
- Daily caseload of approximately 10 patients per technologist
- 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, with varied start times between 7:00 AM and 5:00 PM
- No weekend shifts required
- Possible on-call coverage for holidays
- May float within clinical scope to meet facility needs
- Utilizes GE scanner equipment
- Charting performed in Cerner, with EPIC experience preferred
- First-time travelers will be considered
- Locals not accepted; minimum residency radius rule applies
- Facility is a Magnet-designated acute care hospital with 152 staffed beds
- Scrubs of any color or pattern are acceptable
- Free parking available near the facility
- Orientation and annual training modules are completed onsite, averaging 4-5 hours
- COVID vaccination required for candidate eligibility
- Candidates who previously worked at this facility must have a 2-year gap before returning as a traveler
