BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) - Education:
Relevant certification credentials recognized in cardiovascular or radiologic specialties - Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac catheterization or interventional radiology procedures, including diagnostic cardiac catheterization and angioplasty; 0 years minimum experience with strong skills accepted - Schedule:
Days shift, 10 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week - Required Skills:
Accurate monitoring, angioplasty, arrhythmia induction, ASD closures, baseline measurements, cardiac ablation and mapping, cardiac stent placement, cardioversion, carotid angiography and stenting, catheter/drain exchange, chest tube placement, conduction studies, cystoscopy, diagnostic cardiac cath and catheterizations, dialysis graft interventions, embolization, endovascular interventions, electrophysiology lab procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, implantable device management, percutaneous interventions, TAVR, and more. - Additional Responsibilities:
May float within scope to IR and interventional radiology units. On-call requirement of one shift per week and every 4th weekend, with some Saturdays included in scheduled shifts. - Submittal Requirements:
Valid state license (pending license accepted, takes 10-12 weeks), two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs), copy of certifications, and specific charting experience (Epic).
