Procedural Scheduler Positions

We are hiring for multiple openings of Procedural Scheduler positions in the Peri Op Admin Department at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! Currently available schedules:
1) Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 hours per week.
2) Full Time, 1.0 FTE, Variable Shift, 40 hours per week. Apply today! Applicants that meet qualifications will receive an invite with additional screening questions from our Hire Vue system!

Under supervision coordinates communication of daily surgical and/or procedural case progress to the Charge RN, staff, surgeons and anesthesiologists. Coordinates Perioperative Services surgical and procedural scheduling by obtaining data relevant to the specific procedure and works with inter-/intra-departmental staff as necessary to ensure accurate procedure resource scheduling.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in three areas of responsibility and/or must have at least 1 year experience in the Providence Operating Room with maintained proficiency in two areas of function listed above in Essential Functions Daily Operations
  • Computer skills using a variety of software.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
