Respiratory Therapist - NICU PICU Adults - Anchorage

We are hiring for Respiratory Care Practitioner position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK!

• Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 12-hr Night shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Position is full-time, 1.0 FTE, 12-hr Variable shifts, 40 hours per week.

$10,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Relocation Assistance available for eligible hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

• Per Diem, 0.01 FTE, Variable Shift, Hours Per Week as needed.

The Respiratory Therapist provides services to patients in the NICU/PICU as prescribed by Physicians/NNPs in conjunction with established policies, procedures, protocols and guidelines. She/He is responsible for the assessing the patient's respiratory status and recommending appropriate therapies. She/He implements therapies and evaluates patient response to therapeutic interventions. The Respiratory Therapist accepts and promotes professional development as an integral part of practice.

She/He will assess, analyze, customize, coordinate and communicate the patient's plan of care and actively collaborate with other members of the health care team.

• National Registered Respiratory Therapist
  - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire or,
• National Certified Respiratory Therapist
  - National Board for Respiratory Care upon hire
• National Provider BLS
  - American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Provider ACLS
  - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 5 years
  - Experience in pediatrics respiratory therapy.

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care.
