Experience with Diagnostic Cardiac Cath, Interventional Cardiac Cath, STEMI, IABP, Impella, Tandem Heart, Structural Heart procedures.

Description:

Electrophysiology Tech assignment length is 13 weeks. Shift is 4x10 days from 07:00 - 17:30. Candidates with a minimum of 2 years of experience are preferred. First-time travelers are accepted. Skills required include various interventional procedures and advanced cardiovascular techniques. Call is required for Electrophysiology from 6 PM to 8 PM if needed after work hours. Weekend shifts are required, with some Saturdays included in the 4 scheduled shifts for the week.

Floating to similar units may be required to meet facility needs. Candidates must be willing to accommodate block scheduling. Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 50 miles away from the facility. Time off requests will be approved on an individual basis. Guaranteed hours are 70 hours per 2 weeks. Travelers can be called off for one 10-hour shift every two weeks.

Unit information includes working with a variety of cardiac and interventional radiology procedures. Interdisciplinary support is available within the unit. Daily operations will consist of advanced monitoring, procedure setup, and patient care activities related to cardiac interventions. Call requirements entail being on standby for urgent cases only during specified hours. Special procedures will consist of various diagnostic and interventional techniques including device implants and electrophysiology evaluations.

Candidates are expected to demonstrate professionalism and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
