Your role is critical to delivering the Nordic Spa promise. You will make business decisions that uphold our four brand standards while meeting key financial goals. Training, tools, support and feedback will be provided to help you succeed.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Make a great first impression – ensure the arrival experience is flawless from curb to front desk.
• Greet guests with eye contact and a genuine welcome to foster community and acceptance.
• Create unique spa experiences by applying thorough knowledge of hydrotherapy, services, products, and offerings.
• Ensure accuracy and attention to detail when making reservations or checking in.
• Maximize locker use and average spend per locker for daily success.
• Increase revenues and guest satisfaction by responding to enquiries, wait‑lists, emails, and phone calls.
• Clean, restock, and tidy reception, retail and relaxation spaces throughout your shift.
• Complete assigned tasks on time and with quality, requiring minimal follow‑up.
• Maintain clean, organized spaces that support the value of effortless experiences.
• Complete work processes and checklists to honor guests’ desire for peace.
• Communicate in a welcoming, inclusive way to reinforce the spa value of equality.
• Contribute to a collaborative workplace that supports community, common goals and acceptance.

Education & Experience

• Previous spa, hospitality, guest service or retail experience.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Good with numbers—balancing daily sales and data collection.
• Comfortable with technology and open to learning.
• Passion for guest service and health & wellness.
• Previous reservation software and POS experience preferred.

Working Conditions

The spa operates 365 days a year, so shifts may include late hours, weekends, and holidays. You will spend a lot of time on your feet, multitask competing priorities, and resolve employee and guest issues while fostering a culture of service excellence.

Physical Demands

Regular standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling. Frequently lift up to 10 pounds, occasionally 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and adjustable focus. A functional capacity test may be required.

Work Environment

Moderate noise level.

The brand‑new Nordic Spa inside Alyeska offers hot, warm and cold pools amid boreal forest surroundings, saunas, steam rooms, massage therapy, and a place to connect with yourself and others away from modern life.
