Housekeeping Supervisor - Aspen Suites Anchorage

The Night Auditor provides overnight Front Desk service while completing the hotel’s daily financial reconciliation and end-of-day procedures. This position assists guests with check-in, check-out, and requests while ensuring daily transactions and reports are accurate and complete.

The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and able to provide friendly guest service during overnight hours.

• Complete the hotel’s nightly audit and end-of-day procedures.
• Review, post, balance, and reconcile daily hotel transactions.
• Reconcile cash, credit card, and other payment activity.
• Review guest accounts and identify or report discrepancies.
• Generate and distribute required daily reports.
• Complete guest check-in and check-out accurately and efficiently.
• Process payments and maintain accurate guest accounts.
• Answer phones and respond to guest questions and requests.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and involve management when needed.
• Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local area information.
• Follow established cash-handling, guest privacy, safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate Front Desk logs and communicate important information to the incoming shift.
• Maintain a clean and organized Front Desk and lobby area.
• Remain calm and use good judgment during overnight guest or operational concerns.

• Assist with reservations and guest inquiries.
• Assist with stocking Front Desk, lobby, or market areas.
• Complete light breakfast setup when applicable to the property.
• Complete basic administrative tasks and prepare materials for the next business day.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

• Previous hotel, Front Desk, Night Audit, cash-handling, or customer service experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and basic math skills.
• Comfortable working with financial transactions and reports.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn hotel systems.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to work independently and remain organized.
• Dependable and able to consistently work overnight shifts.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays based on business needs.

Our hotels operate seven (7) days a week, twenty-four (24) hours a day. Scheduling and responsibilities may vary based on business and operational needs.

The Night Auditor regularly works overnight hours and may work independently for portions of the shift. Reliability and sound judgment are essential to this position.
