Summary

Under limited supervision, collaborate with HIT teams to manage, direct, and support all EHR and Telehealth software/hardware systems. Act as liaison between ANTHC and regional tribal health organizations’ technical staff to manage customer expectations and ensure customer service needs are effectively met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Primary technical customer relations manager for Alaskan Tribal partners on new and existing EHR and Telehealth functionalities.
  • Develop processes and strategies to promote visibility for the customer into the status of current and upcoming projects.
  • Proactively collaborate with ATHS customer technical staff, solicit feedback on existing utilization and technical issues, and analyze feedback to implement solutions.
  • Coordinated software and hardware deployment/upgrade schedules and ensure customer needs are met.
  • Project management to evaluate, test, and validate new hardware and software products; design and direct implementation of system upgrades and hardware enhancements.
  • Enforce procedures and standards for hardware selection, system testing, configuration management, and documentation.
  • Manage the transition of new EHR and Telehealth software and/or hardware from the development and test environment into production.
  • Technical lead for planning and scheduling all system deployments to ATHS customers and provide guidance on EHR and Telehealth technical designs.
  • Manage special projects, compile and analyze data, develop and monitor project budgets, and prepare technical and recurring reports.
  • Serve on HIT committees and other technical service groups; maintain professional expertise through ongoing education.
  • Leads and guides assigned staff, develops goals and priorities, assigns tasks and projects, counsels, trains, and coaches subordinate staff, implements corrective actions, and conducts performance evaluations.
Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of system architecture design, implementation, and analysis techniques.
