Multimedia Specialist I:
Hiring Range $22.99 to $30.66
Pay Range $22.99 to $34.49
Multimedia Specialist II:
Hiring Range $28.17 to $37.56
Pay Range $28.17 to $42.25
Summary of
Job Responsibilities:
The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Multimedia Specialist is responsible for planning, implementing, and executing the Audio-Visual (A/V) and technology needs used for meetings, conferences, video production, and/or various functions for the department. The A/V needs and support are the priority of this role.
This position has two (2) levels designed to provide progressively more responsible and independent work experiences. Progression between job levels is based on the demonstrated ability to successfully handle more progressively responsible assignments.
Qualifications:
SCF programs are established to serve a primary population comprised of Alaska Native people who are affiliated with Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI) and Alaska Native and American Indian people within SCF’s geographical service area. Employees should have a thorough understanding of the cultures and the needs of this population. Such knowledge is critical to ensure the achievement of SCF’s vision of a Native Community that enjoys physical,, emotional, and spiritual wellness, and mission of working together with the Native Community to achieve wellness through health and related services:
2. Two (2) years of experience related to audio-visual (A/V) systems and/or Information Technology responsibilities accomplished through work or personal experience; OR demonstrated proficiency as an Information Technology Technician I at SCF.
Additional Qualifications for Multimedia Specialist II:
1. Two (2) years of experience working with videography and/or full-cycle video teleconferencing; OR demonstrated proficiency as a Multimedia Specialist I at SCF.
Native Preference:
Under P.L. 93-638, as amended, the company pursues a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting and training. SCF Human Resources must receive certification before applicants receive preference.
