Responsibilities- Analyze, maintain, and modify telecommunications and video systems to meet operational standards.
- Monitor the operations of telecommunications and video systems and services of vendors.
- Conduct studies regarding telecommunication systems usage and recommend changes as appropriate.
- Plan, coordinate and perform all moves and installation of telecommunications equipment.
- Test, adjust, and troubleshoot complex hardware equipment as necessary.
- Maintain records and prepare complex reports relevant to the operation of the telecommunications and video systems.
- Provide end‑user training of telecommunications and video features and functionality.
- Education:
Technical training, certification(s) or degree. A degree in an IT related field is desirable. - Experience:
3+ years of related experience. - Technical
Skills:
Telecommunications and video experience with AVAYA and ZOOM platforms. IP‑based telephony, PBX platforms, digital voice platforms. - Security Clearance:
Agency specific – Public Trust (must currently possess or be able to obtain). - Skills & Abilities:
Communication and problem solving. Availability for after‑hours call‑out support. - Preferred
Skills:
Voice and video technologies. - Location:
On customer site – Anchorage, AK (ANC – HDQ).

The likely salary range for this position is $71,445 – $96,661.
