An excellent opportunity is available with this company for a senior-level infrastructure and systems professional supporting a secure and robust administration environment. This position focuses on server and desktop maintenance, patch and security updates, disaster recovery, backups, replication, and production troubleshooting, while also contributing to infrastructure and systems upgrade projects. The role offers broad technical scope and the chance to influence complex IT initiatives in a high-accountability environment.
Required Experience:- Senior-level experience, typically 7+ years, within IT administration, infrastructure support, or systems support
- Experience developing solutions to complex technical problems across a broad range of competencies
- Experience leading infrastructure or systems upgrade and implementation projects
- Experience supporting production issues through system analysis, troubleshooting, and log review
- Must be local to Anchorage
- Strong knowledge of server and desktop maintenance in secure operational environments
- Ability to perform patching and security updates on physical and virtual servers
- Capability to carry out security assessments and provide recommendations for existing configurations
- Knowledge of network protection, vulnerability reduction, and security protocol compliance
- Experience with replication, backups, recovery, and disaster-recovery environment support
- Project management capability to implement new initiatives and report project status
- Ability to work collaboratively with end users, technical teams, and wider stakeholders to achieve common goals
- Ability to provide technical guidance within a department or business function
- Capability to perform cost-benefit analysis for proposed IT projects
