Information Assurance Associate - JB Elemendorf-Richardson

GDIT is seeking an Information Assurance Associate to help support our upcoming Base Infrastructure Modernization (BIM) contract in
Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson, AK.

As an Information Assurance Associate, you will join our team to be the local representative to support the government information systems. The IA role will support the Risk Management Framework process, and participate in the certification, accreditation, continuous monitoring and Improvement processes.

• Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction
• Collaborates directly with AF client on IA related tasks
• Participates in network software upgrades, as well as certificate renewals and installs.
• Updates technical documentation; maintains and implements SOPs for network security.

• Security Clearance Level: Active Secret
• Certification:
• ----- Current DoD 8570 IAT level II (CompTIA Security+ CE or similar)
• ----- Willing to obtain DoD 8140 (CASP+, CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCSP, GCED, GCIA, GCLD, CISA, CISSP, GSLC), aka SecurityX, within 60 days of hire

The likely salary range for this position is $93,500 - $126,500. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
