General Manager — Beverage Production & Distribution

Anchorage, AK

Pay: $110,000–$150,000 + incentives based on performance

General Manager — Beverage Production & Distribution Lead an integrated beverage platform from production and packaging through logistics and market execution. Reporting directly to the CEO, this role provides integrated leadership across production, packaging, logistics, and the movement of all produced beverage products. The ideal candidate operates as a business-unit leader, aligning brewing/production, sales, marketing, warehouse, logistics, and buyers around one operating plan.

This executive understands how capacity, quality, product mix, purchasing, inventory, packaging, fulfillment, route economics, commercial demand, and working capital combine to drive EBITDA and sustainable growth.

The Mandate

Build a scalable, accountable beverage operating platform that delivers consistent quality, reliable service, disciplined working capital, commercial growth, and strong EBITDA performance.

Role Scope & Leadership Expectations

Own the business unit P&L, operating plan, budget, forecast, capital priorities, and business performance Lead production, packaging, warehouse coordination, logistics, and fulfillment of produced beverage products Align closely with production leadership, Sales, Marketing, warehouse, logistics, and buyers Establish integrated sales-and-operations planning, demand visibility, production priorities, and inventory standards Protect product quality, regulatory compliance, employee safety, customer service, and company assets Build leadership depth, process discipline, and scalable systems that support growth

Essential Duties

Enterprise & Operating Leadership Translate company strategy into an integrated operating plan, priorities, resource decisions, and accountabilities Establish a disciplined business cadence covering forecasts, production plans, packaging schedules, inventory, fulfillment, customer needs, financial performance, risks, and corrective actions Clarify decision rights and handoffs among brewing/production, packaging, sales, marketing, warehouse, logistics, and purchasing Balance commercial opportunities with capacity, quality, labor, inventory, service, cash, and capital constraints Present concise, decision-ready business updates and recommendations to executive leadership Financial Stewardship & EBITDA Own revenue, gross margin, EBITDA, operating expenses, working capital, inventory investment, capital spending, and budget variance Analyze product, package, channel, customer, and route economics to improve mix and contribution Develop budgets, forecasts, scenario plans, and corrective action with Finance and functional leaders Evaluate make-versus-buy, capacity, contract, pricing, packaging, logistics, and equipment decisions through ROI and risk Maintain strong purchasing, inventory, receiving, production, shipment, approval, and reconciliation controls Production, Packaging & Quality Coordinate production and packaging priorities with production leadership based on demand, inventory, seasonality, quality, and capacity Establish standards for schedule attainment, changeover discipline, throughput, yield, loss, downtime, quality release, and finished-goods availability Ensure products are produced, packaged, stored, and moved in accordance with approved specifications and applicable requirements Drive root-cause analysis and permanent corrective action for quality, downtime, loss, service, and repeat-failure issues Support equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, capacity planning, and capital roadmaps Supply Chain, Warehouse & Logistics Build integrated demand, production, inventory, warehouse, and delivery plans Optimize inventory levels, turns, shelf life, storage utilization, order accuracy, on-time fulfillment, route efficiency, and freight cost Strengthen buyer and supplier relationships, specifications, lead-time management, continuity planning, and commercial terms Establish contingency plans for material shortages, carrier disruption, equipment failure, weather, and demand volatility Ensure accurate lot, inventory,…
