Position SummaryThe Sr. Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis is a key leadership position within the Company and manages a team responsible for financial planning, forecasting, cost assurance, internal reporting, and related analysis of financial and sales performance. The Manager prepares budgets, long‑term models, BVRs, and KPIs, optimizes the cost of goods sold spending, and provides key reports to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.
EssentialFunctions
- Lead and develop the Financial Planning team, providing assignments, direction, coaching, and performance management. Ensure adequate resource allocation to deliver results.
- Lead the creation and maintenance of the company’s annual operating budget across all expense categories.
- Drive analysis of actual results vs. budgeted, forecasted, and historical results, providing variance analysis and supporting departments in budget management.
- Oversee development of financial models, forecasting tools, and ad‑hoc analysis to assist senior leadership.
- Lead the budget process and produce detailed driver‑based operating and capital budgets.
- Lead the development of the five‑year forecast.
- Perform other duties and complete projects as assigned.
- Business and Process Leadership – deep understanding of sales, customer service, ordering, billing, capital spending, and cost assurance. Strong vendor management.
- Analytical Skill – critical thinking and reasoning to process complex data and make decisions.
- Financial Aptitude – explain economic and accounting information, manage budgets, forecasts, and long‑term investment decisions.
- Business Acumen – grasp business concepts and issues.
- Communication Skills – excellent oral and written communication, presenting plans and proposals at executive and Board levels.
- Accuracy – perform work accurately and thoroughly.
- Adaptability – maintain flexibility in a fast‑paced environment and evolve to meet changing business needs.

Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field. Preferred:
Master’s degree in the same areas.
Eight (8) years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis, accounting, or a related discipline, with at least three years in supervisory or management roles and a demonstrated success in managing multiple projects and priorities.
Computer SkillsProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite:
Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Ability to identify strengths and weaknesses in business processes, conduct root‑cause analysis, and effectively manage work groups to successful completion.
