The Southcentral Foundation (SCF) Nurse Practitioner Team provides direct patient care in the assigned area.

• Licensed as a Nurse Practitioner in Alaska.
• Current certification by the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Meets all requirements for associate medical staff membership and privileges.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, NRP, ATLS, ALSO, PALS) as needed for specialty practice.

SCF follows a policy of Native preference in hiring, contracting, and training, in accordance with P.L. 93-638. Certification from SCF Human Resources is required for preference eligibility.
