Overview
The Assistant Nurse Manager (ANM) is a professional Registered Nurse reporting to the unit director/manager who utilizes the nursing process to manage clinical and operational activities within the assigned shift. The ANM supports the director/manager in planning, organizing, directing, and evaluating services of the unit and provides managerial presence for all shifts. The ANM manages clinical and non-clinical caregivers and provides input to the director/manager for evaluation related to performance.
Duties include compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements, implementing and monitoring compliance to policies, processes and clinical priorities, coaching, mentoring and collaborating to deliver quality health care to patients.

- Ensure compliance with professional nursing standards and regulatory requirements.
- Implement and monitor compliance with policies, processes and clinical priorities.
- Coach, mentor and collaborate to deliver quality health care to patients.
- Required Qualifications
- Graduate from School of Nursing (BS or BSN).
- Alaska Registered Nurse License (upon hire).
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association (upon hire).
- Recent clinical experience in an acute care hospital.
- Charge Nurse/Relief Charge Nurse experience.
- Leadership experience.
- Shared Governance experience.
We are hiring for an Assistant Nurse Manager position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE, 8-hour Day shifts (40 hours per week).

Posted wage range: $59.39 - $93.75 per hour. Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
