RN - TELE

The Surgical Care Unit (SCU) is seeking an experienced Med/Surg Nurse to provide care for a post-surgical patient population. The SCU has 17 beds and maintains a patient ratio of 1:6. This role may require floating to similar units, adhering to medical/surgical level of care.

• Deliver high-quality patient care to surgical patients.
• Utilize advanced skills in procedures such as managing NG-tubes and central lines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
• Document patient interactions and care plans using the Epic system.
• Assist in the training of new staff members when needed.

• Must have Med/Surg experience.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Experience with advanced procedures and equipment relevant to the unit.
