Travel RN - Operating Room

American Traveler is hiring a Trauma Coordinator/PI RN for a 13-week assignment in Anchorage, requiring an active AK RN license in hand and trauma or critical care experience.

• Active AK RN license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience required
• Clinical experience in emergency, critical care, or flight nursing required
• Previous experience working in a trauma program preferred
• Experience entering information into and extracting reports from a trauma database preferred
• AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers certification required upon hire
• TNCC certification required within 3 months of start
• Continuing education toward TCRN (Trauma Care Registered Nurse) preferred
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

• Trauma Services department within a hospital setting
• 13-week assignment with 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM shifts
• Responsible for entering data into and extracting reports from the trauma database
• Coordinates trauma performance improvement (PI) activities and trauma program operations
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
