Pay range provided by 907 Tactical Security Group: $19.00/hr – $22.00/hr.

Role overview: ACO’s primary duties include manning a front desk or secured area, maintaining continuous presence for access control, checking credentials, monitoring security cameras, interacting with the public or Client employees, using non‑lethal and lethal use of force as per training, deterring crimes, detaining and arresting offenders, collaborating with local law enforcement, submitting daily activity and incident reports, and reporting to the ACO Supervisor or Operations Manager.

They may receive field training from a qualified FTO or FSO.

• Patrolling and monitoring activities on Client properties regularly to discourage criminal activity and ensure the environment is safe and secure.
• Evicting trespassers and violators and detaining suspects/perpetrators while following legal protocols before authorities take over.
• Cooperating with law enforcement in documenting criminal complaints and transferring custody of detained and/or arrested suspects.
• Providing detailed reports on daily activities and any incidents that may have occurred to client management and security supervisors.
• Inspecting and patrolling premises regularly.
• Responding to alarms and reacting in a timely manner.
• Providing assistance to people in need.
• Protecting the public while on client property.
• Submitting reports of daily surveillance activity.
• Maintaining regular training standards and relevant security qualifications and certifications.
• Accomplishing daily foot patrols and tasks correctly, thoroughly, and efficiently.
• Completing daily site checks on the Security App.
• Interacting with clients and public professionally.
• Maintaining relevant qualifications.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 18 years old.
• Clean background with no criminal convictions.
• Physical strength and fitness.
• Clean cut appearance and grooming standards required.
• Strict moral and ethical code of integrity and honesty.
• Minimum one‑year prior experience as a Security Officer.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to operate security systems and emergency equipment.
• Ability to safely operate company and emergency vehicles.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work alone with limited supervision as well as to be a team player.
• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and to respect a chain of command.
• Ability to solve problems as they arise.
• Ability to react appropriately in stressful situations and use de‑escalation techniques.
• Good understanding of legal guidelines for area security and public safety.
• Ability to submit daily written reports.
• Outstanding surveillance and observation skills.
• Trained in First Aid/BLS and self‑defense (training is also provided).
• Trained in legal use of force (training is also provided).
• Critical thinker and problem‑solving skills.
