Position Overview: At The Wildbirch Hotel, our Maintenance Technician supports the engineering, housekeeping, and operations team, responsible for the upkeep and repair of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, facilities, and equipment, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry systems, ensuring smooth operations.

Note: A valid work authorization for the USA is required. We do not sponsor visas for this role.

Job Summary:

  • The Maintenance Technician maintains the functionality and safety of the facility, performs routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
  • This role requires technical skills, problem-solving ability, and the capacity to work independently or in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Routine Maintenance: Conduct inspections, perform preventive maintenance, repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry systems, replace bulbs, fixtures, and address system breakdowns.
  • Troubleshooting and Repairing: Respond to requests, diagnose issues, repair or replace components, ensure safety standards.
  • General Maintenance and Upkeep: Assist with facility upkeep, maintain supplies, collaborate with team members.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Keep records, report issues.
  • Safety: Follow safety procedures, ensure a safe work environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Understanding of safety procedures and codes.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Physical ability to lift, carry, climb, and use tools.
  • High school diploma, relevant experience, certifications preferred.
