AboutThe Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our rapidly growing aviation team. This role supports safe, efficient, and high-quality aircraft maintenance while working closely with both Maintenance Supervisor and the Quality Control Department. Reports To- Maintenance Supervisor (for Technicians responsibilities)
- DQC (for duties performed as an RII Inspector)
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Must possess a valid Airframe and Powerplant (A and P) license.
- Minimum 2 years of aviation maintenance experience.
- Ability to understand and follow FAA and Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, safety, and documentation.
- Perform aviation maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations, highest shop practices, and safety flight standards.
- Coordinate closely with the Quality Control Department.
- Document all required maintenance per company manuals.
- When authorized, conduct receiving inspections for parts and accessories to ensure compliance with FAA and company specifications.
- Maintain familiarity with all applicable FAA regulations and company policies.
- Keep assigned work areas, shops, and ramps clean and hazard‑free.
- Assist in planning, coordinating, and improving workflow to minimize delays and increase efficiency.
- Manage parts during repair, ensuring correct tagging, handling, and disposition.
- Assist in initiating Material Requests as needed.
- Maintain tools and support equipment in safe, operational condition.
- Verify that all calibrated equipment used is within calibration date.
- Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, ear protection, respirators, and gloves.
- Complete all required company forms, work orders, and maintenance documentation.
- Submit written recommendations for procedural improvements.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor.
