The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Anchorage International Airport, is looking for a Maintenance Specialist - Electrician - Journey 2/Lead to help us Keep Alaska Moving!
What you will be doing:As the Maintenance Specialist – Electrician, Journey 2/Lead, you’ll play a key role in keeping the electrical systems that power Alaska’s largest airport safe, reliable, and running efficiently. This position maintains, installs, and repairs complex electrical systems across all TSAIA properties — from low-voltage AC/DC systems to 480
VAC power and lighting distribution networks. You’ll also support multiple specialized systems essential to airport operations, including:
- Access Control & Security Systems
- Baggage Handling (BHS)
- CCTV & Fire Alarm Networks
- Overhead Paging
- Building Automation Systems (BAS) including HVAC & DDC Controls
- Voice/Data/Video Networks
This position also handles ordering materials, maintaining records and reports, reviewing permit applications, conducting inspections, and providing recommendations for system improvements.
