The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities, State Equipment Fleet, seeks a Heavy Duty Mechanic–Rural ARFF Advanced Journey to service equipment for coastal roads and rural airports across Alaska. CDL training may be provided for qualified applicants, with travel to King Salmon and remote sites as required.
Responsibilities include diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy and light equipment, including ARFF aircraft rescue duties.
