The Alaska Club is currently hiring Lifeguards
. No previous work experience required! We are a state-wide network of fitness clubs offering state-of-the-art facilities for all things fitness.

The role of Lifeguard is a fun and dynamic position that offers a great team environment and flexible work schedule. Our Lifeguards ensure pool safety in the water and on the pool deck by providing direction and assistance in a variety of situations. Join our team and help develop your leadership skills while providing life-saving skills to our community.

This is a great opportunity for students or parents seeking part-time work. Potential opportunity for additional hours as a Swim Instructor.

• 16 years of age or older
• Ability to swim free-style / crawl stroke
• Red Cross Certification (provided by The Alaska Club)
• Weekend availability (preferred)

• Supervising patrons in pool during open swim, lap swim, swim lessons, and water aerobics
• Supporting fellow Lifeguards and cooperating as a team
• Standing and moving on deck and in pool
