We are seeking a professional and hard working Scrap Driver to pick up/off-load scrap appliances at our central location and various other locations. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record and experience operating a box truck or similar.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate a 20-26 foot box truck to perform drop offs and pick ups.

Maintain cleanliness and condition of truck in-use.

Follow a daily route to ensure all pick-ups are completed.

Communicate with supervisor and strategize effective way to perform route.

Maintain cleanliness of central lot(main work area) daily after pick ups are completed.

Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and efficiently

Safely evacuate refrigerant from refrigerators after certification is met.

Requirements:

Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Experience operating a box truck or similar

Ability to lift heavy objects, such as appliances, up to 50 pounds using a hand-truck

Strong customer service and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Ability to follow instructions

Wage Range:
Starting at $20.00 - $22.00 per hour DOE
