Job SummaryThe courier driver reports to the Operations Manager. This job is for a Courier Driver responsible for distributing packages and documents for institutions, businesses, government agencies, and individuals. Occasional work on the weekend may be required.
Pay Range$16 - $18 per hour

- Drive a delivery van on a predetermined route and schedule
- Deliver items as instructed
- Load and unload vehicle as necessary
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Follow DOT regulations and compliance with local, state, federal regulations as well as company policies and procedures
- Report safety, security, and theft incidents
- Ensure compliance with customer information and security requirements
- HS Diploma or equivalent combination of experience and education.
- 1‑2 years of experience working in a warehouse.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must be reliable and flexible with schedule.
- Able to work independently and lift up to 75 lbs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Must have a customer‑service oriented, friendly, helpful, and professional disposition
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced and always changing environment
- Legal status to work in the USA
- Able to speak conversational English
The work requires routine walking, standing, bending, and carrying items weighing less than fifty pounds. Moving items over fifty pounds will be done using a team lift. Must meet physical lifting requirements of 50 lbs.
