What We Are Searching For- Must have a valid Class A CDL
- Must have a safe driving record / clear MVR
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Able to operate an 18‑wheel tractor / trailer to deliver and pick up products from the stores
- Minimum 2 years of experience driving a 53ft. tractor / trailer
- Must be willing to work weekends, nights, and holidays
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary: The hourly rate for this role will be no less than the local minimum wage. Starting rates will vary based on location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement.
What You Will Be DoingThe essential functions and basic duties of the CDL Driver are to perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections of the vehicle, utilize knowledge of safe and effective loading/unloading, and ensure proper operation of the equipment. The driver reviews paperwork for completeness and accuracy, checks orders for the correct number of cases, delivers and unloads products using equipment such as ramps, pallet jacks, load bars, and other devices.
The driver operates the vehicle safely while maintaining DOT compliance and following all local, state, and Federal requirements, ensuring on‑time delivery and professional communication with customers and vendors.
