Warehouse Clerk – Construction Machinery Industrial, LLC – Anchorage, AK

Pay Range: $22.00/hr – $22.00/hr

This position receives, stores and distributes parts, tools and products within the warehouse, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all job functions.

• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders and distributing to customers and other departments as needed.
• Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered or distributed and/or shipped.
• Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins per predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color or product code.
• Fill requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools or other stock items and distribute items to the service department or staging areas for shipping to technicians in the field.
• Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for service technicians and customer traffic.
• Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate method.
• Record amounts of materials or items received or distributed via appropriate computer program.
• Assist in counting of physical inventory monthly and annually.
• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties and special projects as needed.
• Prepare parcels for mailing and shipping via truck, air and water transportation.
• Organize warehouse and work area for orderliness always.
• Call customers for part Will Call.
• Maintain proper certification to perform the duties assigned i.e. forklift, CFR
  49, IATA and D.O.T. physical.
• Issue credits for returned parts and cores.

• Parts Experience (preferred but not required)
• Previous warehouse experience preferred

Full Time, Non-Exempt. 8-hour shift. Monday to Friday. Occasional Saturday.
