Senior IVD Technical Services Engineer – EU (Italy)

We are seeking a Senior IVD Technical Services Engineer for EU to ensure customer satisfaction with our hematology products and strengthen our market presence. This role will focus on enhancing the capabilities of our partner’s technical teams, supporting them with direct field activities as needed and ensuring compliance with our service policies.

Job Responsibilities

Deliver high quality training to our local partner’s technical teams on our hematology analyzers.

Support the local partner’s teams in troubleshooting.

Ensure the local partner’s technical teams have updated technical information such as technical manuals, etc.

Support local partner’s teams in topics related to spare parts management.

Monitor the implementation of the service policies defined by the company, including preventive maintenance schemes and system upgrades.

Collect relevant customer feedback and competitive intelligence through field visits.

Provide on‑site support to our local partner’s teams in installations, customer training, system upgrades, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairs as needed.

Collaborate closely with Sales and Application teams to address customer technical inquiries and enhance customer satisfaction.

Document service activities clearly and accurately; provide detailed reports on service visits, issues, and resolutions.

Support product launches, demonstrations, and participate in industry‑related conferences or exhibitions when required.

Stay updated on the latest technology and product information to ensure top‑level service delivery.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or above in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Medical Technology, or related fields.

At least 5 years of technical service experience in IVD medical devices, specifically hematology analyzers.

Solid understanding of diagnostic equipment troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and calibration.

Fluent in English (both written and spoken) and proficient in Italian (other EU languages can be considered); excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver quality service within tight deadlines.

Demonstrated ability to provide professional training and present complex technical information clearly.

Flexible to travel frequently within Europe or occasionally abroad as business demands.
