The Team Member is responsible for interacting with customers and team members, supporting selling initiatives, and performing assigned tasks, while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

As a Team Member, it is essential that you be available, flexible, adaptable, and service-oriented, as you must be able to fulfill all of the following requirements:

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends, and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Perform a combination of duties including operating cash register, merchandise recovery, participating in freight process, completing Plan-o-gram procedures, assembling merchandise, performing janitorial duties, executing price changes, operating equipment like forklift and baler (if of age), assisting with loading, ensuring excellent shopping experience, and caring for poultry.
• Complete all documentation related to job duties.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

No experience required. Retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is preferred.

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required. Must be able to read, write, and count accurately.

• Farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

• Mostly indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor areas are hard surfaces with adequate lighting and temperature.
• Shifts typically no less than 4 hours, may exceed 8 hours.
• Promote safety and adhere to safety guidelines.

• Ability to move and transfer merchandise up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull merchandise weighing up to 2,000 pounds with proper equipment.
• Lift or reach overhead occasionally.
• Stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, and climb ladders frequently.
• Operate store equipment and handle birds/poultry safely.
• Complete training and certifications as required.
