• Operate end dumps and/or belly dumps (with and without pup trailers) and related equipment safely and efficiently.
• Deliver soils, aggregates and other materials to residential and commercial locations.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections, oiling, greasing, servicing and make normal operating adjustments to the truck.
• Load and unload large quantities of water for compaction and/or dust control as required.
• Maintain time and material records and communicate effectively on the radio system.
• Connect and disconnect pup trailers and maneuver with backing skills for double and triple pup configurations.
• Ensure the equipment is in good working condition and perform minor servicing; refer major problems to the supervisor.
• Lift/move materials as needed (approximate weight handling 10–30 lbs per occurrence) and be able to climb, sit/drive, shift gears, cover/uncover loads, change wheels, adjust lugs, and use hand tools.
• Operate trucks safely and efficiently, following verbal and written instructions.
• The job duties described herein are not exhaustive and may be supplemented.

• Thorough operational knowledge and skills of end dumps and/or belly dumps (with and without pups) and related equipment to be operated.
• Class A license.
• Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently.
• Must keep time and material records.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow instructions.
• Knowledge of different types and sizes of aggregates.
• Must have maneuvering and backing skills with double and triple pup.
• Must be able to communicate effectively on the radio system.
• Must be able to connect and disconnect pup trailers.
• Physical ability to lift/move 10–30 lbs and perform relevant operating tasks.
