WHAT YOU’LL DO:

As our Premier Truck Technician / Mechanic, you’ll be a leader in the shop and take ownership of complex diagnostics, advanced repairs, and overall shop excellence for medium and heavy‑duty Class 7 & 8 trucks. This role requires a master‑level understanding of truck systems, strong problem‑solving ability, and confidence to lead by example while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism in every task.

Each day, you’ll oversee and perform precision diagnostics and repairs, ensuring every truck leaves the shop in peak condition. You’ll provide guidance and mentorship to other technicians, sharing your expertise to enhance team performance and technical capability. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting and repairing engines, transmissions, axles, steering, brakes, clutches, electrical systems, and air systems, as well as executing preventive maintenance programs to ensure long‑term reliability for our customers.

Your leadership will directly support our customers’ success by minimizing downtime and ensuring every repair is completed right. You’ll play a key role in maintaining operational excellence within the shop, promoting teamwork, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Paccar - Certified technicians will have the option of working four ten‑hour shifts.

WHAT YOU NEED:
  • 7 or more years of experience working on all makes and models of medium and heavy‑duty class 7/8 trucks, including engine repair, electronic trouble‑shooting, HVAC systems, and chassis repair.
  • Basic computer knowledge. Cummins and MX software experience preferred.
  • Self‑motivation and assertiveness.
  • Ability to work under little or no supervision.
  • Excellent communication and customer relations skills.
  • Must provide own tools.
Compensation:

$46.45‑51.50/hr (Depending on Experience)
