Description: Elementary classroom teachers instill a love of learning in students and teach them basic skills such as reading, writing and math. An enthusiasm for education andthe ability to foster effective parental involvement are required.
Qualifications:
Nebraska Department of Education Teacher Certification with Elementary Endorsement
Salary: The school district pays based on a Negotiated Pay Scale determined by degree and years of experience.
Benefits: PLCS pays 100% of the healthcare premium for employee only PPO insurance plans and all high deductible plans. PLCS pays 93% of the premium for all other PPO plans. Through the Nebraska School Employees Retirement System 9.78% of the gross salary is deposited into a retirement account. The District matches the contribution at the rate of 101%.
