Anderson Green Ltd is a leading privately owned Building Services Consultancy and we have a permanent vacancy for an experienced Low Carbon Consultant / Energy Assessor based within our Nottingham or Leeds Offices.
The Role:The successful candidate will provide technical support, working collaboratively in a multi discipline team consisting of Buildings Services Designers, Revit Technicians, Building Physicist and Document Controllers. You will be involved with a wide range of projects across numerous market sectors, delivering energy compliance, sustainability, building physics and carbon calculations and assessments from feasibility through to final constriction, RIBA stages 0 to 6.
Dutieswill include:
- Inform the construction design with regards achieving sustainability, energy and low carbon targets
- Using IES software produce dynamic simulation models to assess building performances
- Produce Energy Compliance (BRUKL), CIBSE TM52 and TM54 reports
- Produce heat loss/gain, day lighting, and ventilation assessment
- Work collaboratively with our team of Low Carbon Consultants and Design Engineers
- Lead and manage your own works load
- Advising design engineers on BREEAM/Energy/Low Carbon design solutions
- Undertaking design and technical submission reviews pertaining to Energy and Carbon compliances
- Undertaking site quality and legislative inspections and prepare associated reports
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current industry regulatory and design standards
- QA documents, design, drawings prior to issue, to ensure Anderson Green standards are maintained
- Liaise professionally with clients, professional teams, contractors and staff of all levels
- Attend client, design team and project meetings
Qualifications:
- Registered Non-Domestic Energy Assessor
- Level 5 IES Energy Assessor – Proficient User
- CIBSE Low Carbon Consultant
- Degree or HNC/D in relevant subject or equivalent
- In depth Knowledge of Building Regulations Part L
- Good time management organised with a flexible attitude
- Be a team player, but able to operate at an individual level
