As a Clinical Psychologist with Guide Star Eldercare, you will join our efforts to provide neuro‑behavioral health services to residents in long‑term care facilities. Using a multidisciplinary approach, you will partner with specialty clinicians to provide holistic, continuity of care for the elderly afflicted with neurocognitive disorders such as dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurologic and psychiatric diagnoses.

• Provide evaluation
• Establish diagnosis (e.g., Alzheimer’s vs. Parkinson’s vs. Vascular)
• Provide cognitive assessments
• Offer condition‑specific support therapy or insight‑based therapy when indicated
• Coordinate the patient’s care plan with the facility, PCP, and Guide Star colleagues, and engage with the family as needed

An active state Psychologist license, passion for the geriatric population, interest in neuro‑behavioral science, and a desire to make a difference in a population struggling with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders. An HSPP is preferred in applicable states.
