Position Summary

As a Maintenance Manager, you will lead maintenance efforts across manufacturing and operational areas to ensure equipment reliability and peak performance. You’ll take ownership of reducing unplanned downtime, optimizing asset utilization, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your leadership will be key in fostering a proactive maintenance culture that supports safety, efficiency, and long‑term operational success.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensure the implementation of Maintenance & Improvement (M&I) as outlined in the Nestlé Maintenance Strategy with the Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) approach and supported by a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) called Asset Maintenance Management (AMM)
  • Ensure Factory Maintenance jobs are executed in accordance with the highest Nestlé standards of engineering integrity, product quality, safety and environmental protection.
  • Monitor plant and equipment to ensure optimal operation and reduction of planned and unplanned downtime.
  • Liaise with Production, Quality and Engineering on a daily basis to resolve technical and/or operational issues.
  • Ensure the implementation of the Nestlé Maintenance Strategy.
  • Facilitate the Nestle Continuous Excellence approach by supporting and coordinating teams and their studies.
  • Ensure implementation of Asset Maintenance Management as Factory Maintenance System:
    • Technical Stores Management
    • Scheduled Work Order Management and Labor Hour allocation
    • Equipment Bill of Material (BOM)
  • Manage the implementation of Maintenance Best Practices
    • Optimize Predictive Maintenance technologies (Condition Monitoring and inspections) to minimize unplanned downtime
    • Utilize Planned Downtime for Scheduled and Condition-Based Maintenance with Work Orders
    • Job Planning, Material and Services Planning
    • Equipment history, damage code and root cause analysis
    • Support functional expertise in decentralization of routine maintenance activities
    • Ensure the technical integrity and availability of equipment complies with Nestle and regulatory requirements including:
  • Employee Health and Safety
  • Energy (NEMT) and Environmental Protection
  • Asset Maintenance Management (AMM)
  • Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
  • Food Safety
  • HACCP
  • Quality Monitoring Scheme
Position Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of proven maintenance leadership experience at a managerial level
Preferred
  • Experience on factory maintenance and process engineering.
  • Experience on Procomac Filler machines on low acid canned food application.
  • Proven experience in process control solutions for his or her area of responsibility.
  • Able and willing to work flexible hours.
  • Knowledge on PET bottle manufacturing.
  • 3 years of experience in an food and beverage plant
Required Experience
  • Good organizational/administrative skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • High proficiency in using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Project
  • Project Management in the pharmaceutical or food industry.
  • Process qualification, validation in the pharmaceutical or food industry IQ, OQ, PQ.
  • Knowledge on FDA & GMP/GAMP regulation.
  • In‑depth knowledge of food processing Equipment Maintenance and Technology.
