Description
- Program on the console and set up CNC Mill by reading prints provided using 2D and 3D computer aided design and manufacturing software (CAD/CAM)
- Identify and communicate tooling needs
- Setup and load tooling for jobs
- Load and unload parts
- Deburr and mark parts as needed
- Verify, using measuring instruments, surface finishes and tolerances according to print
- Monitor tooling, coolant and oil levels on machines and adjust as needed
- Troubleshoot normal program and machine issues
- Perform other duties as assigned
- 2-5 years’ experience setting up and running CNC mills
- Associate's degree preferred
- Hurco experience preferred
- Master Cam experience preferred
- Maintain and improve technical knowledge through continued education
- Quickly learn new systems and software
- Outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Complete projects safely, accurately, and efficiently
