Physical Demands:

and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months’ related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Good communication skills, knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment preferred but not required.

Must have an outgoing, energetic, and enthusiastic attitude. Must be comfortable initiating conversations and creating a fun environment with our guests.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is frequently exposed to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; extreme cold; extreme heat; risk of electrical shock;
and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals and outside weather conditions. Frequent standing and walking with rare sitting. Continuous lifting, carrying of up to 5 Lbs., pushing and pulling. Uses dexterity and gross motor skills continually. Frequently bends, reaches above shoulder and lifts, carries 6 to 25 lbs. Occasionally kneels. On rare occasions climbs, crawls and work in difficult positions.
Ability to work in smoke filled environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Must be able to work in a smoking environment.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a non‑gaming license from the Indiana Gaming Commission and the Indiana Horse Racing Commission.

Access to Gaming Floor:
Access to general and back of the house areas of the facility for cleaning, restroom areas, food outlets and offices in the gaming facility.
- Report to work fit and ready to work on time daily as scheduled. Checks schedule daily to learn of any changes necessary to accommodate unplanned business conditions.
- Communicates with coordinator, supervisor or Department Head regarding any and all needs affecting work performance, completion of duties, attendance and guest service.
- As directed, properly uses time keeping equipment and systems to record all time worked. Adheres to posted schedule and as adjusted by the manager, relating to work hours, breaks, and duty schedule or station/duty assignments.
