Home Repair Technician

Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency is currently seeking a Home Repair Technician
. The Home Repair Technician provides reliable, affordable home repair services for adults aged 60 and older. The services are provided on a paid basis and designed to keep seniors safe and independent  coverage area will consist of the 14 Upper Cumberland counties.

• Accept calls from potential clients
• Complete requested services
• Complete monthly in-house reports
• Billing for required services
• Provide the finance department with copies of invoices
• Other Duties as assigned by the Executive Director

• Background in home repair, with a focus on electric, plumbing and basic repair
• Certifications in building or home repair, preferred
• Ability to use power tools
• Ability to climb ladders
• Ability to lift more than 50 lbs
• Utilize Microsoft applications
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Attention to detail and organization are required

The successful applicant will possess a high school diploma (required) and experience with in-home repair with a focus on electric, plumbing, and basic repair (required).
