As a Process Automation Engineer, you will serve as a technical cornerstone for our high-volume, automated production environment. By optimizing blow molding processes and integrating advanced robotics, you will directly influence our facility's Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and operational reliability.

As a Process Automation Engineer, you will serve as a technical cornerstone for our high-volume, automated production environment. By optimizing blow molding processes and integrating advanced robotics, you will directly influence our facility's Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and operational reliability.

Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges within automation systems to maximize production uptime.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by fine-tuning ABB robotics and Omron PLC programming.
  • Lead the installation and commissioning of new automation hardware to scale production capabilities.
  • Partner with maintenance and production teams to implement proactive reliability strategies.
  • Analyze performance data to identify bottlenecks and execute process optimizations that reduce waste.
  • Mentor staff on technical best practices to foster a culture of continuous learning and operational excellence.
Qualifications Required Skills
  • Proven technical aptitude with a focus on industrial automation and control systems.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities in fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing settings.
  • Demonstrated capacity to learn and master new robotic and PLC technologies rapidly.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to achieve production targets.
Preferred Skills
  • Direct experience with blow molding processes or similar high-speed manufacturing environments.
  • Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting Omron PLCs and ABB robotic systems.
  • Experience managing equipment improvement projects from conception to implementation.
