As an Industrial Controls and Robotics Engineer, you will serve as a technical lead for optimizing automated manufacturing processes. You will drive operational excellence by enhancing the reliability and performance of complex robotics, PLC, and vision-based control systems.
Responsibilities- Engineer, program, and refine automated control architectures to maximize equipment uptime and production throughput.
- Execute complex troubleshooting of electrical and automation systems to minimize downtime and resolve technical bottlenecks.
- Spearhead root cause analysis initiatives to implement permanent corrective solutions for recurring equipment failures.
- Oversee the successful integration, commissioning, and launch of new high-speed manufacturing machinery.
- Standardize automation documentation and electrical schematics to ensure long-term system maintainability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with production and maintenance teams to identify and execute continuous improvement projects.
- Ensure all automated systems adhere to rigorous safety standards and regulatory compliance protocols.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining and programming industrial automation in a production setting.
- Advanced proficiency in PLC and HMI logic development and robotic system integration.
- Deep understanding of industrial electrical controls and the ability to interpret complex technical schematics.
- Proven track record of analytical problem-solving in high-pressure manufacturing environments.
- Technical expertise with ABB robotics platforms and Omron control systems.
- Practical experience deploying Keyence vision inspection technologies.
- Background in high-volume manufacturing processes such as injection or blow molding.
- Familiarity with data-driven continuous improvement methodologies and equipment lifecycle management.
