* Job Description:
** Duties* Perform routine and specialized laboratory tests, including but not limited to PCR, immunoassays, and specimen collection processing.
* Conduct phlebotomy procedures and monitor vital signs as needed.
* Maintain laboratory management protocols to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
* Utilize laboratory information management systems for accurate data entry and tracking of specimens.
* Assist in the preparation of samples for analysis and ensure proper handling throughout the testing process.
* Uphold cleanliness and organization within the laboratory environment to promote efficiency and safety.
* Perform daily maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
* Participate in Quality Control (QC) and Quality Management (QM) for area assigned.
Qualifications
* Associate’s degree in medical laboratory technology or a related field is preferred.
* Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) is highly desirable.
* Proficiency in various laboratory techniques, including specimen collection processing and immunoassays.
* Strong data analysis skills with attention to detail for accurate test result interpretation.
* Experience with laboratory management systems is an advantage.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
* Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare staff.
