As the public face of Kimbrell’s Furniture, the Sales Associate is responsible for assisting with any and all customer questions about the products and services Kimbrell’s offers. Sales Associates are expected to continually update their knowledge of the company’s products, services, and policies. Maintain a professional attitude with sincerity and enthusiasm reflecting Kimbrell’s commitment to our customers.

• Meet and communicate with customers in a courteous and professional manner, presenting facts related to our home furnishings and products.
• Promptly resolve customer complaints and ensure maximum client satisfaction.
• Achieve established goals. Go the extra mile to drive sales.
• Direct customers to merchandise within the store.
• Demonstrate superior product knowledge.
• Maintain an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor.
• Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers.
• Cross‑sell products to increase purchase amounts.
• Build productive, trusting relationships with customers to ensure future sales.

• Excellent selling, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic with a genuine desire to provide outstanding service.
• Identify furniture by number, color, or description from invoices and complete sales contracts legibly, including written directions to the customer’s residence, if necessary.
• Read and follow assembly instructions for home furnishings, assembling merchandise for display and delivery. Must be able to work weekends and/or extended hours as directed by the manager. Comply with all Kimbrell’s Furniture rules and policies. Act in the best interest of Kimbrell’s at all times and fully cooperate in any company investigation.
