Loss Prevention Associate

Job Description:

TTI Power Equipment has an opening in its Anderson, SC distribution facility for a Loss Prevention Associate that will implement daily security policies and procedures while ensuring all TTI assets are protected to the best of their abilities. An ideal candidate will have good communication skills, both written and verbal, and must provide evidence of both. They will have to demonstrate excellent surveillance and emergency response skills as well as a strong commitment to security rules and knowledge of all hazards and threats to life safety and assets.

• Ensure standing orders are consistently implemented
• Participate in all training held for officers or designated individuals
• Act as part of the emergency response team
• Accurately document and record vehicles that enter the property
• Accurately document and record persons that enter the facility
• Participate in unannounced and planned inspections as directed
• Patrol parking lots for proper parking and issue notices as needed for parking, litter, and other violations
• Assist in investigations of any issues, such as violations, theft, disturbances on site, etc. as directed
• Assist in reviewing camera footage and other means necessary involving incidents, theft, etc. as directed
• Assist in developing policies and procedures as directed
• Maintain positive working relationships with peers, co-workers, supervisors, and local law enforcement
• Investigate security breaches as directed

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience
• Good reading and writing skills are a must
• Additional coursework and training in security administration or a similar field will be an asset
• Ability to work a 12-hour overnight shift schedule including weekends and holidays

• Completion of the South Carolina Criminal Justice Academy 12-week basic curriculum or an equivalent CALEA accredited curriculum is desirable
• Proven experience as a Loss Prevention Associate is preferred
• Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g., CCTV, access control programs)
• Experience in emergency response activities
• General knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• A basic proficiency with computer hardware and software
• Documented communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills
• Committed and reliable
• Attention to detail is a must
