Financial Accountant

An established and growing organisation is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its finance team based in Andover. What will the Financial Accountant role involve?

Preparation of accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including profit and loss accounts and balance sheets
Supporting month-end close activities, including reconciliations, accruals, prepayments, and intercompany accounting
Maintaining and reconciling the fixed asset register and assisting with year-end and external audit requirements
Producing financial analysis and supporting management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting processes
Working closely with colleagues across the business to improve reporting processes, controls, and data accuracy
Suitable Candidate for the Financial Accountant vacancy:

ACA, ACCA or CIMA quailed with a strong financial accounting background. Will also consider part-qualified or QBE with strong technical accounting experience
Strong understanding of month-end processes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
Advanced Excel skills and experience using ERP systems
Well-organised, analytical, and able to communicate financial information clearly to a range of stakeholders
A proactive and collaborative approach with a willingness to learn and develop
