About the roleWe are recruiting for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a well-established school in Andover to provide support Secondary aged pupils with severe, profound and complex learning needs. Some pupils also have additional sensory, physical, medical, social or emotional needs. This Teaching Assistant will help support engaging lessons including Numeracy, Literacy, life skill and Personal Development.
Daily duties for Teaching Assistant- Support classroom teaching and learning
- You will be required to support in creative Art and play lessons
- Help students overcome barriers to success
- Build positive relationships with students and families
- Contribute to planning, assessment, and school improvement
- Previous experience working with children
- A valid DBS
- Motivated and hardworking
