Luma Education Recruitment is looking for a Behaviour Support / Learning Assistant to support a school in a rural setting near Andover, Hampshire.

This role would suit someone who enjoys working with children and young people and is confident supporting pupils with their behaviour, engagement, learning and personal development.

You will work alongside teaching and support staff to provide targeted assistance to pupils, helping them remain engaged in learning, manage behaviour positively and develop confidence and independence.

• Supporting pupils during lessons and learning activities
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support where required
• Helping pupils manage their behaviour and remain engaged
• Encouraging positive attitudes towards learning
• Supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs
• Building positive and trusting relationships with pupils
• Helping maintain a calm, structured and supportive learning environment
• Supporting positive classroom routines and expectations
• Encouraging pupils to develop confidence and independence
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff
• Assisting pupils to overcome barriers to learning and make progress
