ResponsibilitiesAs a QHSE Engineer, you will:
- Lead and manage QHSE programs and improvements to ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental objectives.
- Foster a positive and productive safety culture, encouraging open communication and collaboration.
- Monitor and assess QHSE performance, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions to mitigate issues.
- Communicate regularly with stakeholders, providing updates and ensuring alignment with QHSE goals.
- Maintain detailed documentation, processes, and records to ensure compliance with company policies and industry best practices.
We are looking for someone who has:
- Proven experience in a QHSE role, with a track record of successfully managing Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental standards.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships across teams.
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- A collaborative approach, with a passion for working as part of a team to achieve shared success.
- Relevant QHSE-related qualifications (e.g., NEBOSH, ISO Lead Auditor, IOSH) are desirable but not essential.
Your typical day will involve:
- Conducting audits, inspections, and reviews to ensure adherence to QHSE policies and regulations.
- Collaborating with stakeholders to ensure quality and safety requirements are met.
- Monitoring compliance with safety and environmental standards, taking corrective action where necessary.
- Supporting team members and fostering a culture focused on health, safety, and process excellence.
- Preparing and delivering reports on QHSE metrics, performance, and recommendations for improvements.
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing best practices related to Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental management.
