Salary: £13.73 per hour (PAYE)

Private home setting (SP11)

We are currently seeking experienced, compassionate female Support Workers / Carers to provide high-quality, person-centred care for an elderly individual in their own home. This role requires patience, reliability, and a commitment to supporting dignity, independence, and wellbeing.

• Provide respectful personal care, including assistance with washing, dressing, toileting, and grooming.
• Support with daily activities, including meal preparation, feeding support, and hydration.
• Assist with mobility, including safe use of a walker and general movement around the home, where applicable.
• Observe, monitor, and report any changes in health or wellbeing promptly.
• Maintain a safe living environment, actively working to prevent falls and reduce risks.
• Encourage and promote independence, respecting personal choices and routines.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, communicating clearly and patiently at all times.
• Keep accurate basic records and follow all care plans and safeguarding procedures.

• Proven experience as a Support Worker, Carer, or Healthcare Assistant, ideally with elderly care - minimum of 6 months experience.
• Comfortable supporting mobility and individuals at risk of falls.
• Confident in medication support and personal care tasks.
• A calm, patient, and empathetic approach.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trust.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Must be female due to the personal nature of care.

• Competitive hourly rate of £13.73 PAYE
