Location: Andover, Hampshire

Hours: Monday Thursday: 08 00 & Friday: 08 30

Salary: £30,000-£32,000
- Depending on experience

About the Role

We re working with a well-established business in Andover that s looking for a practical, reliable Maintenance Technician to help keep their machinery and sites running smoothly.

This is a hands-on role supporting the Maintenance Manager with a mix of day-to-day maintenance, repairs, and safety checks across two nearby sites. You ll get involved in everything from fixing machines to basic facilities tasks.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out cleaning and basic servicing of machinery
• Performing regular maintenance checks to keep equipment safe and running
• Helping with small repairs, fault-finding, and minor fixes
• Supporting the production team with machinery upkeep across two sites
• Reporting any issues or unsafe equipment
• Travelling between local sites (a few minutes apart)

Skills & Experience

• Some experience in maintenance, facilities, or basic engineering

OR recently completed an apprenticeship or training in maintenance, electrical, or mechanical work

• Confident using hand tools and fixing things yourself
• A good problem-solver who enjoys practical work
• Comfortable working alone or in a team
• Full UK driving licence is essential

Bonus Skills (Not Essential)

• Basic mechanical or electrical understanding
• Experience in a factory, production, or engineering setting
• Computer-literate (for maintenance logs or checklists)
